What is Panchakarma?

At Pranava Ayurveda, we specialize in Panchakarma. It is a detoxing treatment that has proven long-lasting health benefits. The Sanskrit word Panchakarma means ‘five actions’ – treatments that are necessary and integral to purifying the body.

Our Ayurveda clinic includes initial Ayurveda consultation and thorough diagnosis. We will ensure that you get the best of Ayurveda treatments to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul.

Ayurveda mainly includes two parts – Samshodhana Chikitsa, a bio-cleansing therapy, and Samshaman Chikitsa, a pacifying therapy. At Pranava Ayurveda, our bio-cleansing regimen is crafted to balance one’s morbid doshas and eliminate the body’s toxic elements.

What happens when your body undergoes a detox program?

To stay healthy and to heal a diseased condition, it is necessary to maintain the digestive fire, i.e. the Agni (Sanskrit name) in a perfect manner. Ayurveda Panchakarma in the UK is suggested by expert ayurvedic practitioners as a viable means to eliminate toxins from the body while restoring the dosha imbalances.

What happens if the digestive fire is imbalanced?

The digestive fire can be weakened by irregular eating habits, incompatible food intake, poorly managed stress levels, eating, etc.

Having food with an improper digestive fire results in improperly or half-digested food only. Such improperly digested food cannot nourish the tissues and on top of that, it releases toxins in the body.

What are these toxins?

The improperly digested food in the body cannot easily pass through the lumens of the stomach and intestines. Hence they remain attached to the walls and even enter every molecule and cell each day.

All the toxins in the body will not develop in a fortnight or a day. It takes time to develop such toxins in the body.

How to detoxify your body?

Before stepping directly towards any detox programs, initially, you need to know what exactly is happening in your body and get assessed about your digestive fire, doshas (humours), etc. by consulting our expert Ayurvedic doctors.

Our Ayurvedic practitioners / Panchakarma specialists will study your body type, examine the whole body, and will guide you to detoxify your body through an Ayurvedic detox program called “PANCHAKARMA “.
